Gastronomic road show

A four-day roadshow for gastronomes will be held from July 9-12 at two von Essen hotels. Buckland Manor - a Gloucestershire country house hotel - and stately Cliveden, former home of the Astor family in Berkshire. Michelin starred chefs from the two hotels, and Sharrow Bay in the Lake District are pooling their culinary genius for the event.

Diners will be able to enjoy the creations of two Michelin starred chefs at the same time. Cliveden’s head chef Daniel Galmiche is known for signature dishes such as smoke salmon paupiette with horseradish dressing, salmon tartar and saffron tuile, while Adrian Jarrad has been tempting diners at Buckland Manor with culinary creations such as a truffled breast of guinea fowl with herb risotto, wild asparagus and mushroom cream sauce. Sharrow Bay has a particular claim to fame, being the home to sticky toffee pudding.
