Speedy River Thames cruises

A thrilling new way to experience London from the river has taken to the Thames.

A thrilling new way to experience London from the river has taken to the Thames. London Rib Voyages are offering one hour cruises along the river in custom built Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) which take passengers past the main attractions and pick up speed for an exhilarating and informative ride. Starting at the London Eye, the cruise goes past the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and the National Maritime Museum all the way to the Thames Barrier, which protects the city from flooding. An experienced captain and guide accompanies up to 12 passengers and provides expert knowledge of London and the history of the River Thames. The RIBs combine manoeuvrability with high standards of comfort, allowing passengers to get closer to the water and really ‘feel’ the river.

The cruise is appropriate for all ages and life jackets and sailing jackets (for cold weather) are provided. Cruises run daily (started April 3) from 11.15 to 16.15, adults £25, tel: 0207 928 2350. Bookings can be made on www.visitlondon.com .
