Gran Hotel La Florida, Barcelona

Barcelona is one of Spain's most vibrant cities. It boasts a proud architectural and cultural heritage, dynamic nightlife and a thoroughly unique ambience which you can experience on a wander through the city's evocative Barri Gótic or a tapas crawl through Barcelona's numerous bodegas. Wherever you go in this city, eye-catching architectural fantasies abound - this is the city that gave the world the imaginative creations of Antoni Gaudí, the master architect and artist whose works include the fanciful Sagrada Familia church and the beautifully tiled sculptures and buildings of the Parc Güell to name just two of the visual delights to be seen in Barcelona. If you prefer to absorb yourself in the Spanish lifestyle rather than its sport, Barcelona is a great place to wander through, offering bustling markets, such as the Boqueria, interesting boulevards including Las Ramblas and plenty of places to stop for a plate of tapas and a cold beer.

Built on the top of Barcelona's Mount Tibidabo in 1924, the Gran Hotel La Florida offers spectacular views over the city of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel has always been admired as one of the most beautiful places in Barcelona because of its splendid perspectives, its convenient position, the comfort and taste of the rooms, and the beauty of its lounges.
