Champs - Elysees Plaza Hotel, Paris

Come to Paris and you'll discover one of the world's premier fashion and shopping meccas, beset with world famous landmarks and fascinating history.

Paris is a city of overwhelming beauty. If you visit the Eiffel Tower, or the Arc de Triomphe by night, it's easy to see why the French capital is often referred to as the City of Light. Take a ride along the river Seine. Visit the Notre-Dame cathedral, the bohemian Latin Quarter, the Louvre, or the Sacré-Coeur. Relax in charming little cafes, or stroll along grand boulevards and flea markets.

Set in a 19th century style building, the Champs-Elysees Plaza is an exceptional hotel which offers comfortable, luxurious and elegant accommodation. The hotel enjoys a prime location in the heart of the Champ-Elysees district, next to the famous Champs-Elysees Avenue, which is home to many of the city's prestigious shops.

Hotel Information

Originally built in 1909 by the architect Charles Lefebvre in a Hausmaniann style, the elegant Champs-Elysees Plaza Hotel is characterised by its classical décor and cosy atmosphere. The hotel was recently renovated but has lost none of its 19th century charm and opulence. Champagne coloured drapes hang regally against the pastel coloured walls, and plush furnishings are accentuated by rich dark wood furniture.

The hotel is just minutes away from fine dining, shopping and entertainment attractions. You are steps away from the Champs-Elysees, Place de la Concorde, and the Arc de Triomphe, as well as famous department stores, luxury shops and designer boutiques such as Guerlain, Vuitton, Céline and Hermes. You are also in close proximity to the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Place Vendome, and newer attractions such as the Grand Arche de La Défense, the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, or the Cité de la Musique. Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports are only 30 minutes away.

Room Information

The hotel has 33 beautifully air-conditioned, large suites which have been recently refurbished to provide exceptional levels of comfort and convenience. The interiors of the suites have been designed by the well known Parisian architect Joseph Caspari. The entrance canopy is of art nouveau style, and the suites are detailed by ornate engravings on the walls. Suites feature draped Indian silks, classical furniture in rich dark woods, subtle lighting, limited edition prints, original fireplaces, polished wooden floors, and tall French windows which open on to wrought iron balconies.

These indulgent suites are equipped with a range of modern amenities including satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini-bars, expresso coffee machine, Hi-Fi system and modem connection. The spacious bathrooms are fitted with spa baths and showers. A separate Jacuzzi bath and shower is also available in most suites. Luxury bathroom toiletries are made by Carven.

Dining Experience

The Champs-Elysees Plaza has no restaurant but there is a room service menu for continental breakfasts, light lunches or dinner. You can also eat in the breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor opposite the lounge area.

There are a number noteworthy restaurants in the surrounding area. El Mansour Restaurant is an excellent Moroccan restaurant, while Spicy Elysees serves first-class international cuisine. Findi George V serves delicious Italian cuisine, and Petrouchka which is only a few minutes from the Champs-Elysees, is one of the best Russian restaurants in Paris.
